day five

made our way to dan shui 渔人码头 finally. haha but not before buying two shoes each at a particular shoe shop situated nt far away fr the mrt station. hence we had to lug our huge plastic bags as we took the train all the way from xi men ding to dan shui.

upon reaching dan shui mrt stn, we had our meal at MacDonalds before trying to find our way to 渔人码头. jacynth and i were like so disappointed cause there's no such thing as chilli sauce, i ate my medium fries in all its naked potato glory with a tinge of saltiness haha.

took a bus to the place and we noticed that the gents was labelled wrongly. it was rather amusing.
camwhored a lil as we walked around 渔人码头, enjoying the sea breeze, the weather was rather hot and humid but luckily it became cooler in the evening. heard fr ms zhuang that it was dangerous for 3 girls to be outside at Dan Shui until late so we left 渔人码头 quite early but not before we witnessed the sunset.










day six
jacynth felt unwell since we were at dan shui 渔人码头 ytd, so we stayed in the hotel to allow her to rest before gg out in the late afternoon to explore around xi meng ding again. i took the chance to use the computer in the lounge haha. i cant live without the com la. the days in scamp and in taiwan added up to like 14 days without touching my beloved comp.. that's like so long la... haha so i used the comp while the two of them slept. oh yes, we finally found the Modern Toilet Restaurant that day too aft stumbling across it on the first day. wanted to dine there but the place was packed thus we decided to reserve eating lunch at Modern Toilet on monday instead. after that, we proceeded on to have a rather nice meal at an italian restaurant nearby.






day seven







this was the day when i dropped my left contact len while i was wearing it in the bathroom. haha so wasted but yeah.. nvm..
took the train to some blue line stn. we attempted finding Mr J Restaurant but to no avail...the passer-by whom we asked said that Jay Chou opened his restaurant in Taipei medical university but we forgot to ask her from which bus stop shd we take the bus to the uni.
so had our lunch at 京樺城. this shopping mall is similar to taipei 101 cause it caters mostly to high end consumers and there're many branded boutiques in it.
in the evening, took the mrt back to shilin night market and continued splurging like there's no tomorrow, HAHAHA. this is also the day that theresa and i borrowed NTs fr jacynth.


day eight

ate early dinner at our favourite 蛋蛋屋






took pictures on the streets of xi men ding for keepsake since we spent most of our time in xi men ding. our hotel is located in there!


day nine










the eagerly anticipated Modern Toilet Restaurant experience. haha have been hearing loads about it fr other friends who have gone to taiwan before us. cool, the decor is extremely unique and i think maybe Singapore shd have such creative stuff too... the portions of the fd served there are HUGE. haha, u can see for yourself.


after that we accompanied theresa to get leggings and jacynth to read the article/interview on her JIN. it was lucky that we decided to reach the hotel an hour early, (we were supposed to be fetched by the driver at 3.15pm fr our hotel to taoyuan international airport) cause the foodstuff we bought on the second day arrived at the hotel's lobby. they were just packed in a regular orange plastic bag and not in a secure box to be air-couriered like how the cashier lady promised. we felt quite cheated haha.
