initially signed up for frisbee but in the end, i dragonboated. not much to say, 'cept girl power rocks!

i personally dont like these scenarios a lot. prep talks may be necessary but they certainly dampen my mood. ALOT. but the tutors are not to be blamed. the speaker of a particular quote sounded extremely hurt. sighs oh wells..

anyway, unhappy things aside,
watched the dance performances in the school hall yesterday.
awws. the background music is like, so sad and emotional la. sentimental soothing music with a tinge of overwhelming melancholy, haha.
overall, all three performances were enjoyable(: all the best for syf central judging, nyjc's dance club!! (:
the lovely girls of 0626 always never fail to brighten up my day, even if it is just sitting with them, lunching.
many hilarious and ridiculously funny things can just spark off when these different personalities come together

celebrated charmaine's bday at fish and co's with the ij gang almost a week ago.
rushed there after tuition...so i didnt catch STOMP THE YARD with them.
yups. the most memorable part was when charmaine tay was asked to stand on a chair and hold up sparkles, by the staff, who otherwise threatened to smash the cake into her face...
poor girl, could see that she was really embarrassed. chatted and started taking pictures. woahs. realised i havent seen some of my secondary school friends since eons. i would love to meet up with them more.

irritating la. i think i must have caught the flu bug, i've got a spinning headache and my throat, nose and the region betw the nose and mouth feels damn pain.

spent ytd with the usual girls. we pei ah sa shop for her Guess jeans but after all the hustle, she finally bought the Levis' jeans. it looks wonderful on her, so all the hustle initially was worth it. then, we also took neoprints at bugis. after which we rushed to meet the rest of the class for steamboat.
and of course, i loved the food. didnt get to cook much 'cos motherly adeline and sisterly cynthia cooked them all for me and vanessa. heh heh hehs. THANKS!
also THANK YOU vanessa for peeling the prawns, i m so lazy.
oh ya went out with calina at ps earlier in the morn. we played some games at the arcade and a horrible incident happened to me.
oh wells, what can i say. can only blame it on my carelessness. besides, that horrible incident also caused carine and me to be late for the meeting with the girls.

today was spent towning with calina and vivian. bought a brown polo tee and white tee fr ps. ahaha. yah, ps again. btw, i carried out the mission that xiuxuan, carine, ah sa, cheng en, adeline and cynthia entrusted me with already! so dont worry(:(:(:

boy, aint i glad that the block tests are finally over. u know what? i cldnt help grinning to myself as the answer scripts were being collected. wanted so much to burst out into laughter thr and then. tried my best to keep a straight face lest i look like an idiot. hahas, nope. it has nth to do with my performance for the paper.
ayes. wad a foolish girl i am.
anyway, now it's time to recuperate by:
1) sleeping for really long hrs during the day (which i just did)

FRIDAY EVENING it is, and i'll say thank god it's friday.

highlight of the week:
CCA bazaar.
i spent my afternoon slumped in LT4 watching the various aesthetic grps perform.
found co's performance pleasurable, band's majestic. and piano ensemble's soothing.
DANCE was awesome, haha, maybe not that great but i like seeing people doing flexible and slick moves.
graceful babes in action. ahaha. what the heck m i talking abt? :P
they helped soothe my guilt and lousy feeling that petanque didnt have a booth.
(my SGC will be so clean at the end of this yr)
actually,
vanessa and a few others are right. how can the second intakers decide on the first day they step into college what cca they wanna commit themselves to? anw, heard ny kicked out 50% of the first intakers...not sure of its actuality but my og23 has a number of casualties:(

on a much sadder note,
the march school holidays are finally here and thr's no real cheering or rejoicing, esp amongst the jtwos of nanyang jc. (read the following only at yr own risk)

BLOCKTESTS are just ard the corner. and i'm sure that many will be mugging during the break, myself included. but i dont really know how to start yet. kind of overwhelmed la. currently suffering from brain drain, like always.
anyway, me and the usual girls were sitting at a table in the atrium tday when we heard cheers coming fr the grandstand. and then i realised, how time flies, once we were like them too, cheering our lungs out during O1 & O2. those were the carefree and happy-go-lucky days. now, school's getting nasty. with us drowning in daily homework/revision and the constant nag fr teachers that we musnt slack, even though sometimes they dont physically nag. but their behaviour during tutorials spell their disappointment all out in the most powerful and invisible way. thr is evidence to support the above statement: increased frequencies of tests of any sort. tutors flaring up or their soft sighs that -they-think-nobody-hears. last but nt least, extra lessons on certain days.

DUN BE MISLED into thinking im bitching abt the tutors now.
i'aint complaining. i knew this wld happen once the clock struck midnight on 1st JANUARY 2007. whatever it is, i still believe that 2007 could still be a wonderful yr. like they said, it's all in the mind.

laugh more and find entertainment in nothing.
just laugh yr hearts out!
bball tday was fun bcos of all the laughter with the girls and thank you very much for the encouragements when i was shooting(: honestly speaking, i cant imagine what will become of me in school if i had no friends. >.<

earlier this week, ms shahida showed us a movie entitled,
"singapore dreaming". at first i was like, okay. another local film. expected it to be typically boring but, it was not. as the story unfolded, i found it
rather engaging as it was really quite realistic and reflective of singapore's current situation as well as societal issues. one of which is- the idea of a paperchase society whr everyone is regarded successful or not based on their academic achievements... overall, the feelings generated were acute depression and haplessness. STRESSFUL lifestyle and MATERLIALISM, goshh.
the harsh realities of life!
anyway, vanessa and i agreed that the mother(ma) was cute and very kind-hearted(:

stairs-falling epidemic
well, it all started on monday morn with adeline who fell dwn fr her hse's staircase. she missed one step whilst carrying her stuff and alas, she suffered knee injuries and bruises.

cyn also had a bit of an eye infection...
the same day aft sch, xx fell dwn when crossing the overhead bridge to go to the bus stop across the road.

the next afternoon(tues), vanessa fell dwn whilst walking dwn with us to go for PE. yup, she also missed a step, thus having to limp ard becos of a sprained ankle:(

even so, it wasnt over yet. cheng en acquired slight eye infection on wed i think. moreover, during chem prac, i dropped an entire tray of apparatus and TADA! two glasswares or more exactly, beakers, broke into a thousand pieces . yours truly was in a state of shock but still had to compensate the monetary losses to the sch. furthermore, i almost lost my balance while climbing up the LT steps. luckily xx and adel were thr to stablise me and thus prevented a domino effect of falling people. >.<

talented:D so glad i decided to buy the tixs fr ming jue, who is also the director for xin4 (so proud of my fellow og12 mate)... watched the show with yee sam whom i havent seen for a looong time, haha, yups. think it was rather sweet of her to come all the way fr tampines to nyjc then go back all the way again. hehe, xin ku ni le. but like she said, we support mj mah.

before ys came, i loitered more than 2 hrs ard e school building. exploring places and doing some thinking, lol.

to those pesky lil mozzies, spare me already la. please?
