0626 went to supreme court for learning journey tday. part of the National Education Programme thingy i guess. destination-- supreme court. unlike the subordinate court, it handles crimes tt are more serious, for eg. murder, kidnap, drug traffiking etc.
could say that the trip was quite cool. gathered many learning points:
1) being a lawyer isn't easy at all! they face extreme pressure from the judge. as well as being reprimanded for tardiness and not being thorough enough:(
2) eth in the high tech court is so high tech! LOL. yours truly, vanessa and a few others were like, imagining what if our tutorial clsrms were like them. hahas. then the tcher could suddenly zoom e camera in on a sleeping student la.
3) the court of appeal is the highest court in singapore. btw, the ladies in that modern building is white, sparkling clean and somehow special, lol
4) lawyers and judge do not wear those BIG wigs.

to sum it all up, eth is so different fr what i expected. we sat through parts of two diff hearings. a murder case and smth else. wow, it's like TOTALLY different fr wad we see on the tv screen.
after that, vanessa and i made our way to st joseph church to see mrs low. so glad we've decided to see her. looking at mrs low's husband photo, i realised how fragile and unpredictable life can be. mrs low has lost her 'fire' all of a sudden, she looked really down and kinda frail. i'm glad tt she said our appearance at his wake comforted her and oh my, i really wish she will be happy everyday cos she's really a good teacher and great person. lastly, i'm also touched tt she remembered me:D:D jiayou mrs low! you must take care k!
